IPL Thread Vein Treatment in Bournemouth

Reduce the appearance of facial thread veins, broken capillaries and vascular redness with IPL.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) can be used to reduce the appearance of facial thread veins, broken capillaries and vascular redness.

At HAZE Beauty in Bournemouth, I use the Lynton Lumina IPL system to deliver controlled pulses of light to visible blood vessels. The light is absorbed by the pigment within the vessel and converted to heat, causing the targeted vessel to gradually break down and be naturally cleared by the body.

IPL can be particularly effective for visible vessels around the nose, cheeks and chin, as well as areas of facial redness.

A course of treatments may be recommended depending on the number, size and depth of the vessels and how your skin responds. Your individual treatment plan will be discussed during your consultation.

Treatment is available on suitable areas of the face, neck and chest.

Why Choose HAZE Beauty for IPL?

HAZE Beauty is a private, ladies-only home salon in Bournemouth, offering one-to-one treatments in a calm and comfortable setting.

IPL treatments are carried out using the medical-grade Lynton Lumina IPL system, and I hold a Level 4 qualification in Laser & Light treatments.

Every IPL treatment begins with a thorough consultation and patch test. Your treatment settings and plan are tailored to your skin, the vessels being treated and how your skin responds — rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

If you’re unsure whether IPL could help your thread veins or redness, your consultation is the perfect place to start.

Benefits of IPL for Thread Veins

• Targets visible facial thread veins and broken capillaries
• Helps reduce the appearance of vascular redness
• Can improve overall skin clarity and tone
• Non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime
• Quick treatment sessions
• Suitability is assessed individually during consultation, taking into account your skin type, recent sun exposure or tanning, medications and the type of thread veins being treated.

What to expect

During treatment, you may feel a warm snapping sensation, which is generally well tolerated. Mild redness or warmth can occur afterwards, and some treated vessels may temporarily appear darker.

Over the following weeks, treated thread veins may gradually fade as the body naturally clears the affected vessels. Some veins may respond after one session, while others require a course of treatments.

Results vary depending on the size, depth and location of the vessels, as well as your individual response. Complete clearance cannot be guaranteed, and new thread veins may develop over time.

A consultation and patch test are required atleast 48 hours before your first IPL treatment to assess suitability and help ensure the treatment can be carried out safely.
