What is IPL skin rejuvenation?
IPL works by delivering controlled pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin. This light energy targets pigment and damaged cells while gently heating the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This process helps to:
• Reduce sun damage and age spots
• Improve uneven skin tone and pigmentation
• Stimulate natural collagen for firmer skin
• Refine skin texture and clarity
• Create a brighter, healthier-looking complexion
Results continue to improve over time as the skin naturally repairs itself

What does IPL feel like?
Most clients describe IPL as a quick, warm snapping sensation, similar to a light elastic band against the skin. Lynton technology includes advanced cooling to enhance comfort, and treatments are generally very well tolerated. Mild redness or warmth may occur immediately after treatment but usually settles within a few hours.
A patch test is required a minimum of 48 hours before your first IPL treatment. This is essential to ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for your skin. A full consultation will be carried out to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and create a personalised IPL treatment plan.

Aftercare
After IPL treatment, your skin may feel warm or appear slightly pink. This is normal and temporary. To protect your results, we recommend:
• Avoiding heat, exercise and hot showers for 24–48 hours
• Avoiding sun exposure and wearing a high SPF daily
• Avoiding active skincare products for 7 days
• Keeping the skin hydrated and protected
Please note that pigmentation may temporarily darken before naturally fading.
